Frequently asked questions about the All-on-4 treatment
Placing the implants themselves takes a couple of hours per jaw. You receive temporary fixed teeth within the next 72h. The whole process is designed to be fast, but without rushing – with full focus on your safety.
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia and is not painful, though it can be uncomfortable. After the procedure swelling or a feeling of tightness may occur, but this is temporary and is resolved with basic treatment.
Within the first 72h you receive teeth that you don't take out, that look real, and with which you can eat softer food and smile without holding back.
No. For the first few months you wear temporary fixed teeth while the implants fully integrate with the bone. After that, permanent teeth are made – even firmer and longer-lasting.
On average 3 to 6 months, depending on how quickly the implants integrate. You have functional teeth the whole time and are never without a smile.
