Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your settings, understand how you use the content and, with your consent, show you more relevant ads.

2. Which cookies we use

Necessary cookies

These enable the basic functioning of the website (e.g. navigation, security settings, remembering your consent choice). They cannot be switched off, as the website would not work correctly without them, and they do not require separate consent.

This category covers the technical cookies needed for the session and form security, as well as the cookie that remembers your cookie choice.

Analytics cookies

We use these to understand how visitors use the website — which pages are visited most, how long visitors stay and where they come from. For this we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.). The cookies set by Google Analytics are _ga (distinguishes visitors) and _ga_* (keeps session state); they are kept for up to 2 years. These cookies are set only after your consent: until you consent, Google Tag Manager runs in “Consent Mode” and sets no analytics cookies.

Marketing cookies

These would be used to show relevant ads on other platforms and to measure campaign effectiveness. Such cookies track your activity across multiple websites. The website currently uses no marketing cookies; they would be loaded only after your consent.

3. Managing your consent

On your first visit to the website, you are shown a banner with the options “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customise”. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you give your consent — never before. If you later withdraw your consent, those cookies are no longer used.

You can change your consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the website (footer).

4. How long cookies are kept

The cookie that remembers your choice is kept for 6 months; once that period expires, your consent is requested again on your next visit. The Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are kept for up to 2 years. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
